Dr. Nancy grew up in Melbourne and graduated in Dentistry at Griffith University. She made the move for the warmer weather and to experience the coastal and outdoor lifestyle that Coffs Harbour offers.
Nancy believes in creating a friendly and unique experience as she understands that no one patient is the same.
She endeavours to make every patient smile but also cares for their overall wellbeing by creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Not to mention how the children love seeing her and want to return.
Nancy joined Brad Pearce Dental for her passion to practice dentistry for a locally owned business in a small town that is dedicated in providing family focused dentistry, which allows her to liaise with her highly experienced colleagues to provide a great standard of care for her patients.

Dr Vashy Dolezal (Coffs Harbour & Woolgoolga & Grafton)
Dr Vashy was born in the Czech Republic & came to Australia at the age of 3 with his parents. He does speak Czech although poorly as he doesnt get the opportunity to speak it often. While in high school he knew he wanted a career in health, so he could make a difference to peoples lives. In Year 10 he did work experience at Sydney Dental Hospital and that was when he decided to pursue a career in dentistry. He felt that there was nothing more satisfying than to help a person achieve a beautiful smile. It improved their self esteem and relieving people of pain is a wonderful thing. It changes their overall mental and physical health. Dr Vashy graduated from Sydney University in 1988, working in private practice in Canberra for 2 years. From there he purchased his own practice in the Blue Mountains which he had for 20 years before going for the sea change in 2010. He is a keen fisherman and still loves the mountains, so Coffs Harbour & Grafton is the best of both worlds. Consistent care is important so each time you come to our practice you will always see the dentist of your choice. Its great to get that rapport with your dentist. He wants to help his patients achieve a pain free smile & practices all facets of dentistry with a special interest in crown and bridge work.
Dr Gino Morel (Woolgoolga)
Dr Gino Morel was born and raised in the Seychelles, which is an island paradise in the Indian Ocean. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in 2006 after spending 5 years in New Zealand.
Since making the move to Australia he has worked in Newcastle and Tamworth. In 2008, Gino joined the Brad Pearce Dental team in Woolgoolga.
Gino is easygoing and works with efficient, terrific and friendly staff. This makes for a great working environment, which in turn makes patients feel at ease. He has always believed that patient comfort should always come first.
Since graduating, Gino has been very active in attending numerous courses in all aspects of general practice, particularly in the areas of cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Outside dentistry, Gino enjoys keeping fit and has multiple sporting interests including soccer and cross fit. He is passionate about travelling and wants to discover all of Australia, as well as experience the fascinating cultures from around the world.
Mrs Wendy Backman (Coffs Harbour & Woolgoolga)
After growing up in Coffs Harbour, Wendy Backman moved to Sydney to pursue a career in Dental Therapy (Dental Therapists provide dentistry exclusively to children and young adults).
Graduating from Westmead College of Dental Therapy in 1996, Wendy spent several years in the public health dental clinics in Sydney.
Missing the coastal lifestyle, Wendy returned to Coffs Harbour in 2006 to raise her family. She has been working at Brad Pearce Dental since 2007. Wendy works in the Coffs Harbour and Woolgoolga practices and enjoys being part of a dynamic and professional team.
Being a mum of 2 young children, Wendy is very in-tune with the oral health needs of young people. "I firmly believe that good Dental habits should be established early in life," says Wendy. "This means mums, dads and carers getting stuck into brushing and good dietary habits from the beginning."
"We set a good example for our kids by looking after our own oral health as adults and having regular dental visits that become part of the whole family's routine."
"Dental problems can have a negative impact on general well being and self-esteem," says Wendy. "Therefore, I am very focused on the preventative side of dentistry."
With her kind and gentle approach, Wendy has no problem helping little people, anxious patients and first timers feel more comfortable about coming along to the dentist.
